Network marketing is a process in which a person works as a freelancer and develops his own team which again is a group of individual freelancers. Network marketing is also known as Multi Level Marketing or MLM.

Once the friend of a freelancer gets convinced and once he gets enrolled with the organization he is registered under his friend, hence, creating a multi-level chain. An example can be given as follows:

A is the upper generation senior freelancer, B is you and C is your friend. When B joins any top network marketing companies he gets registered under A. After that B generates his own leads and he finds C a potential customer and who is his friend as well. Now B informs A about C and A sets a meeting place with C. When C gets convinced with A and gets enrolled with the company he is registered under B, i.e. you.

Profit sharing is also done in the same way. This means if a product sold by C has generated some revenue, some share of the same will go to B and if B has multiple Cs under him, some share of the total earning of B will go to A.

In many top network marketing companies, the above process is very synchronized and organized. This means that everything goes on paper and everything is completely foolproof.
